Above-Ground Pools · Splash Superpools

A real pool this summer,
without digging up the yard.

Self-installable Splash Superpools, sized and planned with you at our Omaha showroom — plus liner replacement, repairs, and opening and closing for the above-ground pool you already own.

Who It's For

Durable, affordable, and built for DIY.

Splash Superpools are the above-ground pools we sell at Olympic Pool & Spa. They're built for long-lasting durability, a sleek look, and easy setup — for homeowners who want to put in their own pool, or the contractor you hire to do it.

An above-ground pool makes sense when you want to swim this year, keep the budget in check, or aren't ready to commit to in-ground construction. It also suits yards where digging is the problem — tight lot lines, tree roots, a utility easement.

We don't install Splash Superpools. They're made to be self-installed. What we do is help you choose the right model and size for your space, lifestyle, and budget, then give you the planning and guidance to get it right. Done with care, a self-installed pool can feel like a built-in feature of the backyard.

The Install

How a Splash Superpool goes in.

Five stages. We're with you in person for the first, a phone call away for the rest. Your Splash Superpools manual is the final word; this is the shape of the job.

1

Choose the Pool

Stop by the showroom at Wright Plaza. We'll match a model and size to your yard and budget, and talk through where it should sit.

2

Prep the Site

Level ground is the whole game. Clear sod, cut high spots down (never fill low ones), lay a sand or foam base. Check your city's permit and fence rules first.

3

Assemble

Bottom track, wall, uprights, top rails — then the liner goes in on a warm, sunny day so it stretches smooth.

4

Equipment & Fill

Set the pump and filter, connect skimmer and return, and fill. We can test and balance the water as part of an opening or service visit.

5

Deck & Finish

Steps or a ladder first. A deck can come later — build it to stand on its own, not on the pool wall, and leave room to reach the equipment.

Equipment tip. Most above-ground pools run a sand or cartridge filter. Sand compacts over a few seasons, so we change filter sand and clean salt cells. The online store stocks chemicals, shock, and test strips — buy online, pick up at the shop.

Liners & Repairs

New liner, new pool.

The liner is the part of an above-ground pool that wears. Sun fades it, cold makes it brittle, and a small tear becomes a water bill. Faded, wrinkled, pulling out of the track, or losing water? It's time.

We replace liners on in-ground and above-ground pools and track down leaks that don't show themselves. A fresh liner in a new pattern is the fastest way to make an older pool look brand new.

  • Liner replacement in a wide range of styles and colors
  • Swimming pool leak detection
  • Diagnostic repairs — in-ground or above
  • Line replacement, sand filter changes, salt cell cleaning

Above-Ground vs. In-Ground

When in-ground is the better call.

We sell both, so we'll tell you straight. Above-ground wins on speed, cost, and simplicity — up this season, no crew in the yard, and it can move with you.

In-ground wins on everything permanent. Custom shapes and depths. Sun shelves, waterfalls, slides, a spa. A deck flush with the water. Heating that stretches the season. And it becomes part of the home.

The honest test: if you already know you'd upgrade in five years, start in-ground now. We've built custom in-ground pools in the Omaha metro for more than two decades, and financing is available.

FAQs

Above-ground pool questions, answered.

Do you install above-ground pools?

No. Splash Superpools are built to be self-installed, by you or an installer you hire. We help you pick the model and size and plan the placement, and once it's full we can test and balance the water as part of an opening or service visit. After that we service it: liners, leaks, repairs, and opening and closing every season.

What's the hardest part of a self-install?

Getting the ground truly level. Nearly every wrinkle, lean, or early wall problem starts with a site that was close enough instead of level. Take your time on the base and the rest goes smoothly.

Do I need a permit or a fence?

Rules vary by city, so check with your building department before you buy. At the showroom we'll help you think through placement, setbacks, and where the equipment goes.

Can you replace the liner on my above-ground pool?

Yes — in a wide range of styles and colors, and we find and fix leaks while we're at it. Request a free estimate and we'll take a look.

Do you open and close above-ground pools?

Yes. Our Basic Open and Basic Close plans cover above-ground and in-ground pools. Plans, pricing, and week-by-week booking are on the opening & closing page.

Where do you serve?

Omaha and the surrounding metro: Papillion, La Vista, Bellevue, Elkhorn, Gretna, Bennington, and Council Bluffs. The showroom and store are at 16902 Wright Plaza, Ste 160, in the Shops of Legacy at 168th & Center — open Mon–Fri 9–5, Sat 10–4, closed Sunday.
