Common Repairs

Six calls we hear a lot.

Most spa problems come down to a handful of parts. Here's what usually goes wrong.

🔥

Heater Not Heating

Lukewarm or cold water. Often the heater element, a flow or pressure switch, or a dirty filter starving the heater. We fix or replace spa heating systems.

💦

Weak Jets or No Pressure

Usually the circulation pump, an air lock, or a worn jet body. We repair circulation pumps, jet components, and plumbing so the hydrotherapy is strong again.

🎛️

Control Board & Panel

Blank screens, error codes, unresponsive buttons. We service digital spa controls and automation systems and replace failed boards and topside panels.

🔍

Leaks

A wet spot by the cabinet, or a water level that keeps dropping. We pinpoint and repair leaks in plumbing, shells, and fittings before they cause serious damage.

🛡️

Covers & Accessories

A waterlogged cover lets heat escape and runs up the bill. We carry a full line of spa covers, headrests, steps, and accessories for safe, stylish upgrades.

💡

Lighting

Dark spa at night? We fix or upgrade your spa lighting for both function and ambiance.

What a diagnosis visit looks like

1

Call or Request Service

Tell us the brand, the symptom, and what you've already tried. A photo of any error code helps.

2

On-Site Assessment

A technician assesses the spa, tests the equipment, and gives you a clear diagnosis.

3

A Straight Recommendation

We recommend the most effective fix. If the part is on the truck or in our store, the repair often happens the same visit.

4

Back in the Water

We test the repair, check the water, and walk you through anything you need to know.

Water Care

Many repair calls start with the water.

Bad water chemistry is hard on heaters, seals, and jets. Keep it balanced and your spa lasts longer and costs less to run.

Drain and refill every few months, rinse the filter regularly, and test before you adjust. If you'd rather not think about it, our maintenance team handles spa draining, cleaning, and water testing on a schedule.

  • Water testing for pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and calcium hardness
  • Spa chemicals, filters, and test strips in store, or online with pickup at the shop
  • Sundance and Horizon filters and parts on the shelf at Wright Plaza

FAQs

Spa repair questions, answered.

Do you repair hot tubs you didn't sell?

Yes. We repair all major brands and models, whether your spa came from our showroom or somewhere else, and whether it's brand new or years old.

What happens on a diagnosis visit?

A technician assesses your spa, tests the equipment, and gives you a clear diagnosis and a recommendation. If the part is on the truck or in our store, the repair often happens the same visit. If not, we order it and come back.

My spa won't heat. What's usually wrong?

Before you call, check two things: the filter (a dirty one restricts flow and shuts the heater down) and the water level (low water trips the sensors). If the spa still won't warm, it's usually the heater element, a flow or pressure switch, or the control board. We'll find it and fix or replace what's failed.

Should I repair it or replace it?

If the shell is sound, repair or renovation is usually the smart money; a complete spa pak returns the equipment to like-new. If the shell is cracked and the equipment is tired, we'll say so, and you can wet-test a new Wellis or Saratoga in our showroom.

Do you carry parts?

We stock Sundance and Horizon spa parts, plus filters, covers, and accessories, in our store at 16902 Wright Plaza, Ste 160 (Shops of Legacy, 168th & Center). Hours are Mon–Fri 9–5 and Saturday 10–4, closed Sunday. Parts for other brands are ordered as needed. Chemicals and supplies are also in the online store for pickup at the shop.

Where do you service spas?

The Omaha metro: Omaha, Papillion, La Vista, Bellevue, Elkhorn, Gretna, Bennington, Council Bluffs, and the surrounding areas. See all areas served, or call 402-896-1246 if you're not sure.
