We collect what we need to answer you, fill your order, and run the website. Card numbers go straight to our payment processor and never touch our site. We do not sell your information. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete what we have about you at any time.
When you write to us. The contact, estimate, and opening-and-closing booking forms ask for your name, email, phone, and whatever you tell us about your pool or spa, sometimes including your address. The form is emailed to the store so a person can get back to you.
When you order online for pickup. We keep your name, email, phone, the items you bought, and any pickup note, so we can pull the order, confirm it by email, and hand it to the right person at the counter. Your card is entered in a secure form run by Square, our payment processor. The card number never reaches our website or our servers. Square passes us a payment confirmation with the card brand and last four digits only. Google Pay and Apple Pay work the same way through Google and Apple.
Automatically, while you browse. Like most websites we use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, which products are viewed, added to a cart, or bought, which buttons and links are used, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location from your internet address. Google sets cookies to do this. Our hosting and network providers also keep ordinary server logs (internet address, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.
In your own browser. Your shopping cart is stored on your device so it is still there when you come back. If you arrive from one of our emails, the link carries a short code that we store the same way, so we can tell which mailings people actually found useful.
Email. If you have shopped with us or asked to hear from us, we may send occasional news and offers. Our email provider records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and one click ends them.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect the store, our customers, or our staff.
Order records are kept as long as accounting, warranty, and returns need them. Messages from the forms are kept as long as it takes to help you and for a reasonable time after. Analytics data is kept according to Google's retention settings. When we no longer need something, we delete it.
This website is for adults buying for their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
The whole site runs over an encrypted connection. Payments are handled by Square, which is certified to the payment-card industry's security standard. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep what we collect to a minimum and limit who can see it.
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
