Olympic Pool & Spa is family-owned and has built pools across the Omaha metro for over 20 years. How far do we go? Douglas and Sarpy counties are home turf, and we cross the river into Council Bluffs. Ralston, Millard, Springfield, Waterloo, Ashland, and Plattsmouth are on the route too. Farther out, just call — we'll tell you straight whether a trip makes sense.
Omaha is really two cities. East of 72nd — Dundee and Benson — means mature trees, tight lots, and pools that went in decades ago and now need a new liner, new equipment, or a real renovation. West through Millard and Ralston and out past 168th, yards open up and there's room for a first pool. Shade trees mean leaves, so a fall closing and a safety cover matter more here.
Papillion grew fast, and most of it is new. The newer subdivisions south of Highway 370 sit on level, open lots with no old roots to fight. We can build the whole package here: pool, sun shelf, basketball hoop, slide, and decking that ties into the patio. Papillion runs its own permits; we pull them. Offutt is close, so ask about the military discount.
La Vista is compact and mostly built out: ranch and split-level homes from the sixties through the nineties on modest lots between 72nd and 108th. Plenty of those backyards already have a pool, and it's often the original. That makes La Vista a natural fit for renovation work — liner replacements, new pumps and filters, tile and coping, salt conversions, heaters. No pool yet and a tight yard? A Splash Superpool above-ground fits where an inground won't. And the showroom is a short drive west, so service calls here are quick.
Bellevue is Nebraska's oldest town and home to Offutt Air Force Base. Older streets in old-town Bellevue and along the river bluffs mean hilly, wooded lots that need careful grading; the newer subdivisions to the west are flatter. Elkhorn is practically next door — a short drive west of the showroom — and a big share of the metro's new subdivisions are going in around it. Lots are large, homes are new, and the smart move is to plan the whole outdoor room at once: pool, patio, hot tub, fire table, lighting, so nothing gets torn up twice. Elkhorn's growth stretches toward Waterloo, and acreages out that way are still well inside our regular route.
Gretna is where the metro thins into acreages, and its two kinds of properties want different things. In the newer subdivisions along Highway 370, it's family pools on regular lots, much like Papillion. On the acreages out toward Springfield and Ashland, it's bigger pools, longer plumbing runs, and one question that matters most: well water. If you're on a well, we'll test the water before you fill and plan the chemistry around it. Gretna is the far edge of home turf; the Springfield and Ashland acreages beyond it are still on the route.
Bennington sits on Omaha's northwest edge and is growing fast. New homes with a bare backyard are the best possible starting point, because we design the pool, decking, and equipment pad together instead of working around what's already there. One wrinkle: some Bennington-address lots are inside city limits and some are in unincorporated Douglas County, and the permits differ. We sort out which you are before we dig.
Yes, we cross the river. Council Bluffs is a straight shot down I-80 from the showroom, and Iowa customers get the same trucks and techs as Omaha. Many Bluffs backyards have real slope, which affects where a pool can sit and how the deck drains, so we walk the yard before we quote. Iowa permits and codes differ from Nebraska's; for a build across the river, ask us first.
